FAQ – frequently asked questions about the Walutomat app

What does the app offer me?

With the Walutomat app, you always have your virtual currency wallet to hand. The app also gives you access to features not available via the customer panel in the browser. These include: quick login via fingerprint or face scan, mobile authorisation (confirming transactions without entering SMS codes), currency alerts in the form of notifications on your phone, and the option to purchase eSIM cards.

Which devices does the app work on?

Our mobile app is available on smartphones and tablets running Android (version 8.0 or later) or iOS (version 15.0 or later). You can download it for free directly from Google Play and the App Store. A stable internet connection is required for the app to run smoothly and securely.

What settings can I change in the app?

Once you’ve logged in and tapped the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll open „My Walutomat” – your app management centre. There, you can edit your profile details and recipient list, as well as change the app’s theme (light/dark mode), language and default currency.

Where can I check my discounts?

Once logged in, click the „My Walutomat” icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select the „Points and Discounts” section. There you’ll find the number of active points you have for commission-free exchanges, a counter for free transfers, information on turnover-based discounts, and a referral link that allows you to become a Walutomat Ambassador.

What does the „Your money” information on the home screen mean?

This is the total of your funds in all currencies you hold, converted into your primary currency (PLN by default) at the average exchange rate. You can change your primary currency in the settings.

Where in the app can I buy eSIM cards?

Once logged in, tap the „My Walutomat” icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select the „Additional services” section and tap „eSIM”. There you’ll find a range of mobile data packages from 1 to 50 GB for over 200 countries and regions.

What is the ID shown in the app used for?

You can share your ID number with other users of our app and make instant, free transfers between Walutomat Wallets.
